Georgia Assoc. of Certified Fraud Examiners Conference

Al Oliver

The fraud conference in Atlanta was a very educational forum for me. It consisted of various speakers on the subject. Fraud as we know is wide spread around the world where people intentionally try to make money usually illegally. Preying on naive people, senior citizens who are not knowledgeable of the topic or subject. We as humans want to make more money if we can. Many people have various tactics and are smooth with their approach.

Always check the sources. Never give personal information that can be used to their advantage. If it sounds good, it is normally not. If it was, they would take advantage of it themselves. You can always check with your Better Business Bureau.

The reason I was able to obtain this opportunity was because I was invited and coached a player by the name of Ron Lepionka at the Pittsburgh Pirates Fantasy Camp this past January. It pays to engage with people because you never know who you will come into contact with. Especially when business and companies are always looking for speakers.

Thanks Ron...
